Adopters See Their Treated Works
Yesterday we invited the donors who had adopted works within our first stage conservation group to come and view their adopted works now that they have been successfully treated. Jennifer Taylor, NERAM Registrar and paper conservator, explained the range of treatments that have been accomplished and the results achieved. the works have either been treated by International Conservation Services in Sydney or on-site by Jennifer Taylor.
Our donors were delighted to see the vast improvements that the work's conservation journeys had made on both their physical appearance and their overall stability, which will allow these works to be preserved for on-going display.
Thank you so much to all our donors for making this critical work possible. We look forward to all adopted artworks receiving treatment in subsequent stages of the program (stage 2 have already been sent to ICS). Watch this space for further updates.
